Herb of the Year - Dill

 The 19th annual Kentucky Herb Festival sponsored by the Kentucky Herb Association is on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 from 9:00am - 4:00pm. The festival is held at Lakeview Park, Franklin County Fairgrounds just off US 460 in Frankfort, Kentucky. There is no charge for the festival but there is a nominal parking fee of $3.00.

 There will be vendors from all over the state selling a wide variety of herbal crafts, products, foods, and plants. The Mink Run Consort will entertain with musical offerings of traditional Celtic and American music.

At noon there will be an auction of garden and herbal items, the proceeds of which benefit future KHA festivals.
